• Please read my terms as set out below; allowing me to apply face paint or glitter to you or your child indicates your acceptance of these terms.
  • The safety, welfare and behaviour of children waiting to be painted is the responsibility of the parents / guardians; please ensure that they are accompanied by a responsible adult and are supervised at all times.

  • I work by a strict code of practice. In order to maintain high health and hygiene standards, my sponges are washed at 90˚ after each event, my brushes are cleaned with sterilising brush soap, and I change my water regularly.

  • Because of insurance regulations, and because the facial skin of under two-year-olds is thinner (and therefore more prone to an adverse reaction), I am unable to paint the face of anyone who is under the age of 2 years old. If appropriate, I may offer to paint a tiny design on the arm or hand.

  • Due to the risk of cross infection I reserve the right to decline to paint the face of anyone who appears to be unwell, and / or displays symptoms including, but not limited to: open wounds; broken skin; severe acne; eczema; a heavy cold; a runny nose or head lice; cold sores; chicken pox; mumps; measles; shingles; impetigo; psoriasis; ringworm or other potentially infectious skin conditions; conjunctivitis or other eye infections. At my discretion I may offer to paint an unaffected area such as the arm or hand.

  • Please ensure faces, hands and arms are clean and dry before being painted. Complimentary baby wipes are provided for the convenience of parents / guardians; however, no liability will be accepted for any allergic reaction caused by using them

  • All my products are manufactured using only ingredients fully compliant with EU and FDA cosmetic regulations. They are not dangerous, are hypoallergenic and are non-toxic.

  • Please do not eat, drink or use mobile phones whilst being painted or having glitter added.

  • I will not paint anyone who does not want to be painted; who is anxious; displaying obvious signs of confusion or distress or who is asleep.

  • Face paint can be removed using your usual mild soap and water; darker colors may temporarily tint the skin, but will fade with normal washing.

A photograph will be taken of painted faces which may be used for promotional purposes on my website which can be found at: www.prettyfantasticfaces.co.uk and/or on my Facebook page, and/or my selection folders and/or display boards which are used at all events I attend. No names will be used. If you do not want a photograph to be taken please inform me at the time. If you have seen Pretty Fantastic Faces using a photograph of yourself or your child and you would like it to be withdrawn from promotional use, please contact me. Photographs will not be distributed to third parties and will remain the copyright of Pretty Fantastic Faces.
  • I have Public Liability Insurance up to £5 million; a copy of which may be seen upon request.
